Intel Make Android 2.2 Porting to x86

Saturday, August 7, 2010

Based APCmag, Intel is busy doing porting Android 2.2 to the x86 architecture of their devices. Intel is clearly seen that consumers prefer mobile technology devices today, and Intel does not want to miss this.
This port will facilitate and enhance the use of Intel's notebook that will run Android on it. This decision came because Intel wants to spur growth Atom netbook and tablet which is run by Android. All it likely will take approximately two months.
Problems experienced by Intel Android is basically devoted to the ARM processor that normally runs on most smartphones. According to Senior VIP and general manager of Intel's software and services, Renee James, "Our hope is that Android Froyo x86 will use as its base and will be coming soon this summer for the developers."
